Can you tell us a little bit about yourself?
Hi, I’m Mollie and I’m a twenty-seven year old London based curve model, and also content creator. I talk about the importance of appreciating our bodies, and being grateful for them, rather than breaking them down and criticising the them. It’s just a very happy and positive place to be.
What are you wearing today?
Today I’m actually off to a casting, so I thought I’d pair a cream blazer (which I’ll leave a few links for), with a white T-shirt, black well-fitting jeans; and my favorite black boots. This is my go-to casting outfit every single time.
Do you have any advice for someone struggling with styling for their curves?
One of my favorite products, which I consider my hourglass ‘hack’, is this a flesh body from M&S. It’s sooo stretchy and just makes your body look absolutely insane. Every single time I wear it, people say “What do you have on?” and the great thing about this is you can wear it underneath an outfit, or as part of an outfit. I like wearing it as a top with a pencil skirt. I’ve linked the different ways I’ve worn it below.
What style rules do you live by?
The style rule I live by is “Wear the leather leggings”. I just always felt growing up that there was so many things I couldn’t wear, horizontal stripes, white jeans; tight fitting things. I just think now, there aren’t any rules. We can wear whatever we want to wear, we can just learn to style them in different ways. There are so many pieces that I wear now just because I enjoy them, not because somebody told me I could.
What is your ultimate #LTKfall purchase?
No Autumn/fall look is complete without knitwear. I need my knitwear to be kind of slouchy, easy to style, and soft (especially around the neck) because I hate any irritating fabrics and this one from H&M is so so good. I asked all my girlfriends where the best place to get knitwear for fall was, and they all said H&M so I didn’t a knitwear edit and have linked all my favorites below for you.
Choose 3 items from your current wardrobe to transition into fall...
Silk shirt – I’ve linked my favorite luxurious one. It has this incredibly relaxed fit, but a very luxurious fabric. I posted a picture in it and Rosie Huntington-Whitely liked it, so that’s me happy for life.
Leather jacket – Another great piece for Autumn is the model jacket. Every single model I know has one of these. They’re too hot for the summer, too cold for the winter so now is the perfect time to get one but you’ll continue wearing it year after year.
IT bag – Definitely my black, absolutely classic, Givenchy bag. I love it so much, I saved up for a year for this thing. I just wanted to spend money somewhere that I could use it again and again.
How will your beauty regime change for fall?
One of my skin saviours during the transitional time when the heatings on, and it gets freezing outside, is the Weleda Skin Food. It makes you look so glowy – ALL the make-up artists use it. I love it so much that I transfer it into a little pot to take around with me all day.
Another favorite beauty staple is the Nuxe lip balm. It’s Ashley Graham’s absolute favorite. It’s very natural, and I describe it as the lip balm I searched twenty-seven years to find. I’m never buying another lip balm again.
