Can you talk us through how and why you started your blog?
I had started my @SHnordic instagram account already, but wanted to expand past the grid. In addition to the decor and lifestyle content, I also write about photography and styling. I’m also about to start a new renovation & refurbish project which I’ll be covering on my blog!
We love the mix of bright colours and dark features in your home; can you tell us what inspired your decor?
I love relaxed and not overly matched decor, lots of texture and natural materials, pops of colour and very little pattern (apart from art and prints). Vintage mixed with new, cheap mixed with pricier pieces. Perfection is boring! Instagram and Pinterest, and LIKEtoKNOW.it are great places for inspiration.
How long have you lived in your home, and what's the story behind decorating it?
We have recently bought a new house, a 60’s split level bungalow that needs renovating. Our previous house was a Victorian house, which we renovated and extended. As much as I loved our old house, I’m really excited about the new project and I think it’s going to be amazing!
What's your favorite room in your home?
It was the seating corner with a little wood burner in my old house (you can check it out below).
What are your 3 'must-haves' for making a house a home?
Having my family with me! Everything else is replaceable.
What can we expect to see next on your LIKEtoKNOW.it profile?
Once the renovation is on the way there will be more pics of the new house too, as well as lifestyle shots.
